These included plant-based cooking and essential-fatty-acid oils, condiments, spreads, multiple food categories, nutraceuticals, and supplements. Spectrum extracted and bottled all their own EFA oils, developing the cutting-edge SpectraVac™ technology that utilized no oxygen, no light, and low heat. Spectrum was also the master natural products industry distributor for Calistoga Water and Juices. The company went public in 1999 through a reverse merger and IPO 1999, acquired 2006 by Hain-Celestial.
